5/15/09

We arrived at the hospital this morning and the nurse informed us that Melinda's white blood cell count was high which means she has an infection somewhere. They took a urine and blood sample to have it tested. Melinda was not transported today to the long term care hospital since she has an infection. We were informed around 5:30 this evening that she would be transported sometime tomorrow. We will keep you updated when we know more information on Melinda's transfer to the other hospital.

Melinda was running a little temperature this morning and was given an antibiotic and is doing fine now. Melinda's vitals were stable. Melinda's traumatic brain injury is out of the critical stage and is improving a little each day but, Melinda still does not follow commands and is still unresponsive at this time. Keep praying that she will wake up.
