Last night Melinda was doing very well. Her numbers were good and she remained stable. Her white count was a little high so she was given Zosyn which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic for her infection. During the night she spiked a fever and she was given Tylenol but that didn't seem to work so she was given Lortab. After that she settled down and her fever came down.
There are a multiple team of doctors taking care of Melinda right now. She is being x-rayed everyday to watch the pneumonia. She remains in stable condition but she is still very critical. She is still off of the paralytic/sedation medication and she is maintaining her numbers on her own so that is very encouraging.
The family appreciates everyone for their kind words and prayers at this time. Melinda is in good hands here but she is in better hands in God's so keep it up!
