5/11/09 Evening
Melinda's vitals were a little high tonight and she was given lortab. This afternoon the nurses were adjusting Melinda in her bed and the hoses attached to the ventilator did not move with her and the trachea may have been damaged. The nurse will have the trauma doctors take a look at the trachea tonight when they make their rounds.
Melinda kept twitching her nose like she had a little tickle. We continued to watch Melinda and she opened her mouth and yawned. That was very exciting! Everyone keep praying for Melinda for she continues to improve every day. By the grace of god she will make a full recovery.

ReplyDeleteThis is all fantastic news!!! I have a feeling that when she does wake up, she will not only make a full recovery, she will recover quickly!! She is her mother's daughter :}, but first and foremost she is a child of God who has been prayed for by her family members for all of her life. She's gonna be okay and praise goes to God for that in advance. I'm in the city and am planning to come up tomorrow for a visit. love you all!!!
