5/9/09 Evening
Melinda's vitals are stable. Melinda's heart rate is still a little high and she had a fever of 102 today. Melinda was given lortab to bring the heart rate and fever down. Melinda continues to receive her respiratory treatments every 4 hours. Melinda's respiratory therapist says her lungs are doing well. Melinda's nurse informed us this evening that Melinda will be off of her pain medicine. The nurse says the pain medicine will take at least 12 hours to be completely out of her system. This evening we talked with Melinda's nurse about her brain injury. The nurse informed us that Melinda is young and strong and that when Melinda is ready she will wake up.

ReplyDeleteSo glad Melinda is doing great! We have been praying for you to get better. She is a tough girl that will fight every step of the way. Melinda I will help you every step of the way. What you have gone through & what you will be going through I have experience that also. You will feel lonely at times, but I will be there for you. Some days will be tough & you don't think that you can make it but if I did it anybody can do it. Stay tough Love you lots
